Welcome!

I'm so grateful you have agreed to step in front of my camera. This portrait project has been in the works for several years, and I'm excited to be making portraits of neighbors!

A little background...

I'm a mother of three, wife, and artist, and Cincinnati has been my home for my whole life. I earned a BS in Graphic Design at the University of Cincinnati, but my accidental love of photography ultimately became my small business of almost 15 years. My family moved to Evanston in 2015 and have been making our home here ever since. You'll often find me out and about walking our dogs.

Why am I photographing Evanston neighbors?

I believe in the power of photography. The documentation of people and spaces gives all of us a sense of time and place, and as neighborhoods and families change, a camera can find us in a singular moment and preserve it. I want to showcase the heart of the community through images of its people, and create a keepsake, a photographic census of sorts, for neighbors to treasure. My goal is to compile a selection of portraits into a book that will be made available through the Evanston City Council, which will receive a portion of the proceeds.
